Annual 4R Field Day

The 5th and annual 4R Field Day will be held at Chesapeake Farms in Chestertown, Maryland! Farmers, agribusinesses, non-profit organizations, as well as government and academic partners are invited to attend on August 26. 

The Delaware-Maryland 4R Alliance is a collaboration between agribusinesses, farmers, government agencies, conservation groups, and scientists. The alliance is working to ensure through education and outreach that every nutrient application in Delaware and Maryland will be made according to the 4Rs.

A Data Driven 4R Field Day

The Delaware-Maryland 4R Alliance is hosting a data driven field day. Compiled and analyzed farm data is a critical component to maximizing nutrient management. Members of the farming and agribusiness community are invited to Mr. Lee McDaniel’s picturesque, Indian Springs Farm to hear from our partners Willard and The Mill about different data management strategies and see Atlantic Tractor equipment that can optimizes data collection. Recognized 4R Advocate, Mr. Mike Kurek from Pennsylvania, will be the Keynote Speaker.

This event is free and lunch will be provided. The deadline for registration is Monday, September 6, 2021.
